I participate in the rescue, transport, and successful release efforts of injured and orphaned birds for the Sonoma County, California Bird Rescue Center. Often, raptors such as this beautiful Owl, are found in need of human help here on the Pacific Coast where I live. I feel obliged and rewarded to have the opportunity to assist these magnificent winged, feathered creatures.
