- Caption: AFTER: Step one -- crop 8x10 then select bird and the dandy lion with a 20 pixel feather, invert the selection and do a motion blur. Then I did a slight change of brightness / contrast. Nice, but still to busy. So I went out on a limb and did part 2. I saved the selection of the bird as a path, then I duplicated the layer and played with the new black and white. I then applied the path as a selection and made the selection into a mask. A little touch up on the mask and there it is.
