  • Caption: This small (about 1 cm in length) stingless Australian native bee was captured by my little Canon Ixus 800 IS camera late one afternoon in south Western Australia. It was sitting on a Purple Flag, 'Patersonia Occidontalis'. The camera was held just in my right hand, at arms' length, and turned to look the little fellow in the eye, so I had to guess the exact focus. Lucky guess!
