TDS Hot air balloon photography workshop
We begin by meeting for an informal gathering and class on Friday evening, June 25. During that session we’ll prepare for our first morning shoot at Keiser Park in Windsor where the Hot Air Balloon Classic is held. After a delicious Wine Country lunch, we’ll head over to class at The Digital Story headquarters in Santa Rosa, where we will focus on camera technique and prepare for our Dawn Patrol shoot on Sunday morning. This is where you’ll be able to photograph the balloons on the ground as the sun breaks the horizon.
After our Sunday lunch, we’ll return to TDS HQ once again for more classroom work with emphasis on how to maximize the impact of the images you captured in the field.
The workshop concludes on Monday morning with a camera clinic, informal discussion, and good-byes.
This will be a personalized experience with class size limited to 6 participants. I will answer your questions using your equipment. We’ll also have lots of fun.

Class size
Class is limited to 6 participants. Guests may accompany registered class participants to photo shoot events.

Economy and Deluxe accommodations will be available. Hotel not included in workshop fee.

Breakfast snacks and lunches are provided on Saturday and Sunday. Complementary refreshments available during class sessions.
Evening meals are not included in workshop fee.
workshop fee
The workshop fee is $495 US.
deposit
The deposit to hold your place in the workshop is $250.
cancellation policy
100 percent of deposit will be returned for cancellation notices received by May 10, 2010. After May 11, 2010, there is no refund of deposit.
